Pupul Bisht - Director of Foresight

Pupul Bisht

At N Square, Pupul runs and develops foresight programs designed to produce novel insights into key nuclear challenges and inform new strategies, funding priorities, and policies. A multidisciplinary designer, futurist, and winner of the Joseph Jaworski Next Generation Foresight Practitioners Award, she previously served as creative lead in the Next Generation Foresight Practice at School of International Futures (SOIF). A recognized thought leader in culturally inclusive practices in design and futures, she is founder of the Decolonizing Futures Initiative, a global project to engage marginalized communities in imagining their preferred futures, and the youngest founding member of Action Foresight’s “Global Swarm,” an internationally distributed team of futurists, reachers, and innovators.

Donna Broughan

Donna is founder of DB Solutions, an event/meeting planning and production company based in the Bay Area. An expert in managing complex logistics, Donna has been in the meeting and event business for more than 25 years, successfully operating hundreds of programs all over the world, from executive board meetings to full-blown corporate incentive programs to large (5,000+) conferences. She holds a BA in geography from California State University at Chico and loves hiking and travel.

Erika Gregory

Erika is managing director of N Square and a recognized catalyst for collaborative innovation, with 30 years of experience building companies and leading innovation programs for clients in philanthropy, education, government, and the private sector. Cofounder of Collective Invention, a boutique social innovation firm, and The Idea Factory, a strategy and innovation center, Erika draws in equal parts from her knowledge of strategic foresight, systems thinking, and the dynamics of collaboration—particularly in ill-defined or ambiguous circumstances. She has served as program manager for the Stupski Foundation, director of scenario communications at Global Business Network, and executive director of the Princeton Review Foundation. Her 2017 TED Talk about the need for cross-disciplinary approaches to ending the nuclear weapons threat has been viewed over 1 million times and translated into 21 languages. She is a graduate of the Juilliard School of Drama.

Morgan Matthews

Morgan is a people-focused design strategist with expertise in strategic planning, systems thinking, and design thinking methodologies. She believes that innovation frameworks are essential to uncovering unexpected and effective solutions to nuclear challenges. She brings an MBA in sustainable management and a BA in international and intercultural communications to that task.

Jenny Johnston

Jenny is an expert in helping organizations communicate their visions and their stories to the wider public. In addition to her work with N Square, she develops and writes publications for a range of foundations, businesses, and nonprofits, helping them embrace the notion that storytelling is strategy. She served as senior editor at Global Business Network, a futures think tank, for eight years. Jenny holds an AB in cultural anthropology from Princeton University, and master’s degrees in both anthropology and journalism.
